Terms of Use

Last updated: August 2026

Uplink ("the app") is published by ProxyOmega LTD, a company registered in England and Wales, of 71-75 Shelton Street, London WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom ("we", "us", "our").

These Terms are the agreement between you and us for your use of Uplink. By downloading or using the app you accept them. If you do not accept them, please do not use the app.

Uplink is a media player. It plays video from a playlist or provider account that you supply — an Xtream Codes account, an M3U playlist, or a Stalker Portal.

Uplink does not include, host, provide, resell, index, aggregate or recommend any channels, films, series, playlists or media of any kind. The app ships empty. Until you enter your own source details, there is nothing to watch.

We are not a content provider, a broadcaster, or an IPTV service. We have no relationship with, and no control over, whichever provider you choose to connect.

2. Your licence

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use Uplink on Apple devices you own or control, for your own private, non-commercial use, in line with Apple's standard App Store terms.

You may not: resell, rent, sub-licence or redistribute the app; bundle it with a subscription or hardware you sell; reverse-engineer, decompile or modify it, except where that right cannot lawfully be excluded; remove or alter any branding or notices; or use it to break the law.

We keep all rights we do not expressly grant you. Uplink, the Uplink name and logo, and ProxyOmega are ours.

3. Your sources are your responsibility

You choose what to connect Uplink to, and you are responsible for it. Specifically, you confirm that:

  • You have the legal right to access every source you add and every item you play through it.
  • Your provider or playlist is lawful in your country, and the provider holds the rights it claims to hold.
  • You will not use Uplink to access, copy or redistribute content you are not licensed to receive.
  • You are responsible for any fees your provider charges you. Your relationship with that provider is entirely between you and them.

We do not verify, monitor, filter, endorse or take responsibility for anything you connect. If a provider stops working, changes its API, blocks your account, bills you incorrectly, or serves content you did not expect, that is a matter between you and that provider.

If we receive a credible rights-holder complaint about material accessible through the app, we may respond by adjusting or restricting features — but note we have no ability to remove third-party content, because we never hold it.

4. Age and acceptable use

You must be at least 13 years old to use Uplink, and old enough to enter a binding contract in your country. Because the content comes from your own source, only you can judge whether it is suitable for the people using your device. Use your Apple TV's parental controls and Screen Time restrictions if others share it.

You must not use Uplink to access unlawful, abusive or infringing material, or to interfere with anyone else's systems.

Uplink is free to use with a limited feature set. Uplink Premium unlocks the full app.

Prices (US pricing; local prices are set by Apple's tiers and shown at the point of purchase):

PlanPriceNotes
Monthly$2.99 / monthAuto-renewing
Yearly$14.99 / year7-day free trial for new subscribers, then auto-renewing
Lifetime$39.99One-time purchase, not a subscription

Premium is enabled for Family Sharing, so members of your Apple Family group can use it.

Billing. All purchases are made through Apple and billed to your Apple Account. We never see or handle your payment details.

Auto-renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends. Your Apple Account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.

Free trial. Where a free trial is offered, it converts into a paid subscription at the end of the trial unless you cancel at least 24 hours beforehand. Trials are for new subscribers only; if you cancel during the trial, any unused part of it is forfeited.

How to cancel on Apple TV (tvOS): open Settings → Users and Accounts → [your account] → Subscriptions, select Uplink, then choose Cancel Subscription. You can also cancel from an iPhone or iPad in Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions, or on the web at apple.com/account. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep Premium until the end of the period you have already paid for.

Refunds are handled by Apple under the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions, not by us. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. We cannot issue, approve or reverse App Store refunds.

Price changes. If we change a subscription price, Apple will notify you and, where required, ask you to consent before the new price takes effect.

Restore. If you reinstall the app or use a new device, use Restore Purchases in the app with the same Apple Account.

6. Changes to the app

We may add, change or remove features, and we may release updates. If a provider changes its protocol, or Apple changes tvOS, some things may stop working until we ship a fix. We may discontinue Uplink; if we discontinue it while you hold an unexpired subscription, contact Apple for a refund of the unused portion.

7. No warranty

Uplink is provided "as is" and "as available", with no warranty of any kind, express or implied, to the fullest extent the law allows. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, compatible with any particular provider, or that any stream will play, buffer smoothly or remain available.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded. If you are a consumer, you have statutory rights that these Terms do not affect.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for:

  • anything you access, or fail to access, through a source you connect;
  • any act, omission, charge, outage or content of any third-party provider;
  • loss of data, loss of profit, loss of goodwill, business interruption, or any indirect or consequential loss;
  • any claim brought against you by a rights holder in connection with content you accessed.

Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability to you for all claims arising out of or relating to Uplink is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us or Apple for the app in the 12 months before the claim arose, or (b) £50.

9. Ending this agreement

You may end it at any time by deleting the app (cancel your subscription separately, as above). We may suspend or end your licence if you materially breach these Terms. Sections 3, 7, 8, 10 and 11 survive termination.

10. Apple

Apple is not a party to these Terms. Apple has no obligation to provide support or maintenance for Uplink. Apple is not responsible for addressing any claim relating to the app, including product liability, legal-compliance or intellectual-property claims. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.

11. Governing law

These Terms and any dispute arising from them are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the UK or the EU, you keep the benefit of any mandatory protections of your home country's law and may bring proceedings there.

12. General

If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest stays in force. Our not enforcing a right straight away does not waive it. These Terms, plus our Privacy Policy, are the whole agreement between us about Uplink. We may update these Terms; material changes will be posted at uplinkplayer.app/terms with a new "last updated" date, and continued use after that means you accept them.
